Cycling gel saddle

OK, I didn't intend to write about bicycle seats here, I had just finished watching Mythbusters and was wondering if you could buy ballistics gel on eBay. As it turns out, no. :-)

But that led me to a topic near and dear to my...heart. OK, maybe a bit south of the heart. If you spend a lot of time on a bicycle (or if you don't spend as much time as you should!) then you should have one of those gel seats. A good gel saddle, even if it's narrower than one of those "wide load" seats like on your Grandma's bike, can be very comfortable.

And if you're a guy: try one of those new ones with the split down the middle. Yeah, they look wierd, but they help prevent pressure and damage to the soft tissue behind "the boys" which can lead to all sorts of Very Bad Things as time goes by. Once you try one you'll never go back!
