Retired Webkinz Samoyed

This fluffy puppy looks too young and cute to be retired, but such is the fate of the animals in Webkinz world. One day you're the new pet du jour, the next you're sitting on a rocking chair in the retirement home.

OK, it's not that harsh, it's just how Ganz, the manufacturers of Webkinz, keep things fresh by constantly introducing and retiring new pets. If you're not sure what a Webkinz is then I'm guessing there are not lots of kids around? These are sort of like beanie babes but with a tag to unlock games and fun at a dedicated on-line kid-safe web site. They're quite cute, and lots of fun (even for the older kids-at-heart in the household).

Samoyeds are a breed of dogs originating from Northwest Russia and Western Siberia, which explains the furry coat and cold-weather hardyness. They have a dense undercoat of soft, short fur to keep them warm.
